Tiptronic
Blocking/unblocking jobs
 Push the Tiptronic Setup button A47.
9 The Tiptronic menu is displayed in the graphic display A52.
 Select the menu point "Block Job" by rotating the operat-
ing button A49.
 Confirm the menu point "Block Job" by pushing the oper-
ating button A49.
9 All existing jobs are displayed in the graphic display.
9 Jobs already blocked are also marked with a lock symbol.
 Select the job to be blocked/unblocked by rotating the
operating button A49.
 Confirm the blocking/unblocking by pressing the operat-
ing button A49.
 Exit the menu by pressing the Tiptronic setup A47 button
or the Menu button A50.
NFC Job write (optional)
‰ In NFC Job Write the current parameter settings and job
name are transferred to a NFC Job Card.
The job name will only be saved if none of the

job parameters have been changed.
 Push the Tiptronic Setup button A47.
9 The Tiptronic menu is displayed in the graphic display A52.
 Select the menu point "NFC Job write" by rotating the op-
erating button A49.
 Confirm the menu point "NFC Job write" by pushing the
operating button A49.
 The display "Connect NFC" appears on the graphic display.
 Hold the NFC Job Card to the NFC read area A43.
‰ If the NFC Job Card has already been written on, a safety
prompt appears for overwriting the NFC Job Card.
9 The writing process on the NFC Card is complete when the
code "nFc oK" appears in the 7-segment displays A4.

Job Administration

 Push the Tiptronic On/Off button A46.
9 The Tiptronic mode is switched on when the LED Tiptronic
A45 ids lit up.
 Use the operating button A49 to select the desired job.
 Push the Tiptronic Setup button A47.
9 The Tiptronic menu is displayed in the graphic display A52.
 Select the menu point "Job Administration" by rotating
the operating button A49.
 Confirm the menu point "Job Administration" by pushing
the operating button A49.
9 The menu "T5 Job Administration" is displayed in the
graphic display A52.
 Select the desired menu point as described below.
Rename Job
9 In the top section of the graphic display A52 we display
the Job Name followed by the Job Number.
9 The cursor (write marker) is at the end of the Job Name.
9 The characters that can be selected are shown in the lower
section of the graphic display A52.
‰ With the welding process button A32 you can switch be-
tween the following characters.
– Capital letters
– Small letters
– Digits and special characters
 Select the desired character by rotating the operating but-
ton A49.
 Confirm the character by pressing the operating button
A49.
9 The character is added to the Job Name at the position of
the cursor.
 Repeat these steps until the editing procedure is complete.
‰ The mark
character can be deleted.
 Save the text input by pressing the operating mode but-
ton A33.
