Tiptronic

The Tiptronic function provides the user with 100 separate
jobs (10 job sets, each consisting of 10 jobs). All settings and
adjustments made on the user interface are stored in each job.
The Tiptronic function can be used beneficially e.g. by allocat-
ing frequently arising welding jobs to specific job numbers, or
different welders can save "their" individual settings in their
job.
In the welding process Electrode (MMA) and

(TIG) no jobs can be saved.

Switching the Tiptronic on
 Push the Tiptronic On/Off button A46.
9 The Tiptronic mode is switched on when the LED Tiptronic
A45 ids lit up.
9 In the graphic display A52 we display the Job Number A56
and the Job Name A54.
 You can switch between the active jobs using the A49 op-
erating button.
The Tiptronic mode can only be switched on if

there is at least one active job present.
Tiptronic menu
 Push the Tiptronic Setup button A47.
9 The Tiptronic menu is displayed in the graphic display A52.
‰ In the Tiptronic menu, all the Tiptronic functions described
below can be selected and executed.

Save job
 Determine the desired welding settings.
 Push the Tiptronic Setup button A47.

 Select the menu point "Save Job" by rotating the operat-
ing button A49.
 Confirm the menu point "Save Job" by pushing the operat-
ing button A49.
9 In the graphic display A52 we show all the saved locations
(Job 0-0 to 9-9).
 Set the desired saved location by rotating the operating
button A49.
‰ If the saved location is marked only with the Job number
(e.g. 0-1), then this saved location is unoccupied/unde-
scribed. If the saved location is marked with a name after
the Job number (e.g. Job 1), then this saved location is oc-
cupied/described.

 Confirm the saved location by pressing the operating but-
ton A49.
9 In the graphic display A52 the message "Job saved" ap-
pears briefly.
‰ If an occupied saved location is selected during saving,
then a safety prompt appears to overwrite the job.
 Exit the menu by pressing the Tiptronic setup A47 button
or the Menu button A50.
Selecting a job
 Push the Tiptronic Setup button A47.

 Select the menu point "Select Job" by rotating the operat-
ing button A49.
 Confirm the menu point "Select Job" by pushing the oper-
ating button A49.
9 All existing jobs are displayed in the graphic display.
 Select the desired job by rotating the operating button

‰ Even blocked jobs can be selected in this way.
 Exit the menu by pressing the Tiptronic setup A47 button
or the Menu button A50.
