Configure the Modbus setup
For hazardous locations, the manufacturer recommends the use of remote commands through the
ballast water control system.
1. Go to GENERAL SETUP>MODBUS SETUP.

Description
Select 12 or 24 hour. Show the day, month or year first.
Set the current date and time.
Description
Set low and high values
Select current instrument (default) or none
Select the parameter (bromine or chlorine) or the next measurement time
Select Linear (default) or PID control, logarithmic or bilinear
Set the mA value (4 is default)
Set the value in seconds
Select 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA (default)
Select hold (default) or transfer outputs when an error condition is active.
Description
Select 4 mA (default) or 20 mA
Set the activation, output mode and channels
Set the test output (4 mA is default)
Description
Set the unique Modbus address for the instrument.
Select the baud rate. The default value is 19,200 baud.
Select RTU (default) or ASCII. For ASCII mode, set the data bits to 7 bits.
