Install the indicator reagent
Chemical exposure hazard. Obey laboratory safety procedures and wear all of the personal protective
equipment appropriate to the chemicals that are handled. Refer to the current material safety data
sheets (MSDS) for safety protocols.
Prepare the indicator reagent before use. For the reagent replacements, refer to
on page 18.
1. Add a small amount of the indicator solution to the bottle of DPD powder.
2. Put the cap on the bottle. Shake the bottle until the powder is dissolved completely.
3. Remove the cap from the bottle. Pour the DPD solution into the indicator solution.
4. Install the indicator solution as shown in
