• Always switch on the transmitter first. Then the flight battery of the model may be connected. Otherwise, the electric model plane might show unpredictable
responses and the propeller might start unintentionally!
• Always check if the propeller is correctly and securely installed before operating the product.
• Make sure that no objects or body parts are in the range or the suction area of the propeller while it is rotating.
c) During Operation
• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your surroundings depend on your responsibly handling the model.
• Improper operation can cause serious personal injury or material damage! Therefore, during operation, make sure there is sufficient safe distance to persons,
animals or objects.
• Select a suitable area to operate your model plane.
• Fly your model only if your ability to respond is unrestricted. Tiredness or the influence of alcohol or medicine can lead to false responses.
• Do not fly your model towards spectators or towards yourself.
• Never point the telescopic aerial of the transmitter directly towards the model. This significantly impairs signal transmission to the model and reduces the
range.
• The motor, the speed controller and the flight battery can heat up during operation. For this reason, wait for 5 to 10 minutes before recharging or replacing the
flight battery. The drive motors must have cooled down to ambient temperature.
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) turned on as long as the model is in operation. After landing, first disconnect the flight battery or switch off the
model. Only then may you switch off the remote control.
• In case of a fault or a malfunction, rectify the problem before using the model again.
• Do not expose your model or the remote control to direct sunlight or excessive heat over a long period of time.

7. Notes on batteries and rechargeable batteries

Make sure you observe the following information and safety instructions when handling batteries or rechargeable batteries.
• Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave the batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around openly; there is a risk of them being swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a
doctor immediately!
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must never be short-circuited, dismantled or thrown into fire. There is danger of explosion!
• Leaky or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries may cause caustic burns if they come into contact with skin. Therefore, you should use suitable protective
gloves.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of fire and explosion! Only charge rechargeable batteries intended for this purpose. Use suitable
battery chargers.
• Observe the polarity when inserting batteries or connecting a battery pack (pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• If the device is not used over a long period of time (e.g. during storage), remove the inserted batteries (or rechargeable batteries) from the remote control to
prevent damage from leaking batteries/rechargeable batteries.
• Recharge NiMH or NiCd rechargeable batteries about every 3 months, as otherwise they might be fully discharged due to self-discharge, which can render the
rechargeable batteries useless.
• Always replace the entire set of batteries or rechargeable batteries. Do not mix full batteries/rechargeable batteries with half-full ones. Always use batteries or
rechargeable batteries of the same type and manufacturer.
• Never mix batteries and rechargeable batteries!
• When dealing with LiPo rechargeable batteries, observe the specific safety instructions of the manufacturer!
