To avoid damage to parts,
never use force when carry
out adjustment.
1. Slacken clamping screw
2. For the diameter setting, adjust the
tool by turning the dial
- on and tool setting device or
- by carrying out with an gauge cut on
the machine.
One revolution of the dial is equivalent
to the adjusting thread (and hence also
the cutter on the tool) undergoing a
diameter adjustment of 0.25 mm (.01").
One division on the dial corresponds
to a diameter adjustment of 0.01 mm
(0.005") (fig. 13).

Readjust the dial by the value requi-
red. The smallest value on the dial
will give a diameter adjustment of
0.002 mm (.0001").

3. Tighten clamping screw
3 Nm (26.55 in.lbs.) of torque.

6. Maintenance

The tool needs only to be cleaned after
use and the serrated body lightly greas-
ed. To keep the tools in top class condi-
tion and maintain their value, store them
in a dry place and occasionally cover
them with a light film of oil.

7. Accessories

The accessories are not included in the
equipment supplied and must be ordered
separately.
