"Axial" length adjustment
This is carried out with an allen key
via chucking diameter hole or tapered
receptacle.
"Radial" length adjustment
– The length adjustment screw is adjusted
via the actuating screw using the socket
wrench (see Fig. 3, Section B - B and
Fig. 4).
– The maximum torque for the actuating
screw must not exceed 3 Nm.
CAUTION:
Use only the original Wohlhaupter
socket wrench.
The socket wrench will break
if the maximum torque is exceeded in
order to prevent damage to the adjust-
ment components (predetermined
breaking point).
Do not operate the length adjustment
screw with a tool in the chuck.
– Approximately 20 turns are needed to
cover the entire range I

4. Maintenance

The chuck aperture and the groove on
every tool should be cleaned with a clea-
ning agent containing solvent to maintain
the chucking force.
Note:
Suitable cylinder brushes can be ordered
separately on request.
For storage, apply a light film of oil to the
entire surface of the hydraulic clamping
chuck.
Store the hydraulic clamping chuck in the
released condition.
Repairs should basically be
carried out at Wohlhaupter.
Repairs by the customer
or by non-Wohlhaupter
organizations invalidates the warranty.
