3. Operation

Chucking/releasing
The tool shank must be free of swarf and
dirt.
The tool must be introduced into the chuck
to at least minimum chucking depth (see
Technical Data, Page 7).
TIP:
Insert the tool vertically into the hydraulic
clamping chuck.
Screw the clamping screw up to the limit
stop and tighten slightly. Tightening torque
10 – 12 Nm (see Fig. 2).
Approximately 3 – 6 key turns are needed
to release it depending on chuck diameter
