3 Product Overview

3.1 Product Description

Aquatec Kogia is a battery powered bath lift, providing an
aid to enter or go out from a bathtub.
The device is positioned in the bathtub by four suction cups
and is powered by a rechargeable battery.
It is composed of a seat plate (with side flaps integrated)
with anti-slip surface, a rigid backrest that can be lowered
and a remote control controlling the seat to go up or down.
A seat- and backrest cover is optionally available.

3.2 Intended Use

Aquatec Kogia is intended to be used as an aid to enter or
go out of a bathtub safely and without effort.
Intended Users
Users are any person with restricted or limited mobility (e.g.
legs and/or hips). If used without an assistant, the user
must be able to keep own balance.
Indications
• Restricted or limited mobility (e.g. legs and/or hips) or
• having balance issues to stand up or walk due to
transitional or permanent disabilities.
Contraindications
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended.
