Dicer insert
For cutting the following foods into cube
shapes: Raw or cooked vegetables (e.g.
potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes,
peppers, onions), fruit (e.g. bananas,
apples, pears, peaches, strawberries,
melons, kiwis), hard cheese, hard-boiled
eggs, soft sausage (e.g. mortadella).
Notes:
– The dicer insert is not suitable for slicing
very soft cheese (e.g. mozzarella,
sheep's cheese) or semi-hard cheese
(e.g. Gouda, Edam).
– For hard cheeses (e.g. Emmental), the
quantity processed in one cycle must
not exceed 3 kg.
– Fruit/vegetables should not be too ripe
as the juice may escape.
– Before processing pip and stone fruits
(apples, peaches, etc.), remove the pips
or stones.
– Leave cooked food to cool down before
dicing it as it will then be firmer and
the dicing result will be better.
