5. Connection and control elements
(5) Equaliser
You can change the tone of the relevant channel or the microphone using the equaliser controls.
HI = treble control
MID = mids control
LOW = bass control
Turn the control knob as far as it will go to the left for maximum reduction.
Turn the control knob as far as it will go to the right for maximum increase.
The central position (felt by a light clicking into place) means that the signal remains unaltered (neutral setting).
(6) Pre-listening switch CH A/CH B
You can select which channel to "pre-listen" to by using this switch. When the switch is disengaged, channel A is
selected; when the switch is depressed, channel B is routed to the headphone output.
(7) Kill switch HI/MID/LOW
These switches are used to strongly suppress the frequency range of the channel in question.
HI depressed > the high frequencies are strongly suppressed
MID depressed > the mid-range frequencies are strongly suppressed
LOW depressed > the low frequencies are strongly suppressed
(8) Cross-fader
This slide control is used to cross-fade between channels A and B.
One channel is faded out on operating the slide control (becomes quieter). At the same time, the other channel is
faded in (becomes louder). With the cross-fader slide control in the centre position, both channels are reproduced
equally.
(9) MASTER control
You can use this control to set the level at the MAIN output (20).
Position "0" = minimum level
Position "10" = maximum level
(10) CUE/PGM control
You use this control to set which signal is switched to the headphones output.
In the CUE position, the signal that has been selected using the CH A/CH B pre-listening switch (6) is played back
(pre-listening). In the PGM position, the mixer output signal can be heard (listening-in).
