A further remote receiver is placed between the fi rst two
receivers, as low in the fuselage as possible. The feeder
antenna for this receiver are oriented toward the top and
bottom of the fuselage.
9.
Secure the receiver batteries to the battery tray using
hook and loop straps and tape. Make sure not to cover
any warnings on the batteries.
10. Fit the battery tray into the fuselage behind the canopy.
Connect the leads from the batteries to the receiver.
Use 30-minute epoxy to glue the tray into position in the
fuselage.
TAIL WHEEL INSTALLATION
1.
Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to thread an M2 x 10 sheet
metal screw into each hole, then remove the screw.
Place a few drop of thin CA in each hole, then allow the
CA to fully cure.

Attach the tiller arm to the bottom of the rudder using
two M2 x 10 sheet metal screws and a #1 Phillips
screwdriver.

Slide a #4 washer and a three-hole brass cable fi tting
on each of the 4-40 x 3/4-inch socket head cap screws.
Attach the tail wheel bracket to the fuselage using the
two cap screws and a 3/32-inch hex wrench.

Thread the ball end 12-turns on the rudder tail gear
pushrod.
5.
Temporarily attach the ball link to the tail wheel steering
arm. Use the tapered washer between the ball and
steering arm.
6.
Center the rudder and tail wheel. Use a felt-tipped pen to
mark the pushrod wire where it crosses the hole of the
rudder tiller arm.
7.
Use pliers to make a Z-bend in the wire. Use side cutters
to remove any excess wire that may interfere with the
operation of the rudder and steering.
