using a paper towel and isopropyl alcohol. Allow the
epoxy to fully cure before proceeding.
The wing panels can be removed
once the epoxy has fully cured.

ELEVATOR SERVO INSTALLATION
1.
Prepare the elevator servo and install it in the fuselage

Use a 24-inch (600mm) servo extension for the elevator
servo. Use the string located in the fuselage to pull the
servo lead to the receiver location.
2.
Insert the 8-32 x 2

the hole in the elevator, then thread the 8-32 fl anged
nut partially on the screw. Remove the ball link from the
control horn, then thread the horn on the screw so it is

-inch (32mm) from the surface of the elevator.

3.
Apply thread lock to the screw before tightening the nut.
4.
Use an 11/32-inch open end wrench to tighten the nut
against the elevator while holding the screw stationary
with a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten the
nut, damaging the underlying wood.
5.
Attach the ball link to the elevator servo arm so it is 1
inch (38mm) from the center of the control horn. Make
sure the tapered washer is between the ball link and
servo arm. Use a 1/4-inch nut driver and 3/32-inch hex
wrench to tighten the hardware.
