Step 8: Connect the payment box
•
Strip the power cable to a length of 150mm from the
cable gland using the cable stripper (T5).
•
Strip the wires at 12 mm using the wire stripper (T7).
•
Connect the L, N and PE wires into DIN rail terminal
block.
•
Mount the electrical safety barrier back in place.
•
Strip the LAN cable using the cable stripper (T5) and
crimp an RJ45 ethernet to the cable using the crimp tool
(T8).
•
Insert the RJ45 connector into the LAN port.
•
Secure the power and LAN cable using the cable tie (P7).
If no sign is installed alongside the payment box, proceed to step 12.
If a sign is installed alongside the payment box, proceed to step 10 in case the sign is mounted on the stand extension
accessory, proceed to step 9 otherwise.
Step 9: Vertical surface preparation
•
Use the drill template (P8) and a spirit level (T12) to
mark the drilling holes.
•
Drill holes using the power drill (T1) and 6 mm drill bit
(T2) at the marked locations.
•
Insert plugs (P6) into the drilled holes.
Step 10: Mount the sign
•
Mount the back plate of the board (P21) with screws (P5
or P24) and screwdriver (T10 or T11
•
When mounting, apply threadlocker (M2) to the screws
(P24).
•
Mount the boards (P20) on the back plate with
compression screws (P11) and connecting bracket (P22).
