Electrical commissioning

8.1

Prerequisites

• The supply voltage used for the ISK 74-31 must comply with the requirements for functional extra
low voltage (FELV) with safety separation.
• Cables installed outdoors or outside the control cabinet must be protected against the
elements etc.
• The protection class for this device only applies if the supply lines have been properly connected
to the screw connections.

Electrical connection

Supply voltage

The unit can be operated with either a mains voltage of 230V
AC 50/60 Hz or a low 24V AC/DC. The 230V power supply
must be connected to terminals PE, L1, N. When operated
with 24V, the power supply must be connected to terminals
24V AC/DC.
Connecting the stationary coil core SPK 9
The stationary coil core SPK9 must be connected to
terminals Transmit 1 + 2 without requiring particular attention
to polarity.
The cable for the coil core is connected using the supplied
crimp connector or by directly soldering the wire to the
connectors.
