MAINTENANCE AND CARE
DAILY MAINTENANCE
Regular Cleaning: Following each use, it's important to
clean your walking pad to remove any accumulated sweat
and dust. To do this, take a soft cloth and lightly dampen it
with water. You can also use the recommended cleaning
product available at movewithascend.com. This practice
not only helps to prolong the walking pad's surface life but
also ensures a clean and hygienic environment for your
workouts.
Caution: Avoid using abrasive materials or chemicals that
may harm the walking pad's finish, as this could affect its
performance and appearance.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
Belt Inspection:
Routine Check: It is essential to conduct regular inspec-
tions of the walking belt to identify any signs of wear and
tear, including fraying, unevenness, or damage. Ensuring
the belt remains in good condition contributes to a smooth
and safe workout experience.
Signs to Watch For: Keep an eye out for any irregularities
such as the belt not moving smoothly, making unusual
noises during use, or failing to remain centered on the
walking pad. These indicators may suggest that an adjust-
ment or replacement of the belt is necessary to maintain
optimal performance.
Power Cord Inspection:
Regular Examination: It is crucial to routinely inspect the
power cord for any visible signs of damage, fraying, or
wear. A damaged cord can pose an electrical hazard and
compromise safety.
Safety First: If you discover any issues with the power
cord, such as damage or wear, it is strongly advised to stop
using the walking pad immediately. For guidance on
addressing the issue and ensuring your safety, please
contact Ascend customer service for assistance.
