■ Do not expose the battery to strong sunlight, heat or fi re as there is a risk of explo-
sion.
This device contains a built-in battery, which must be removed prior to disposal of the
used device.
1. The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the main unit. Undo the screw
on the battery compartment.
2. Slide open the battery compartment. You may need to employ a little force or a tool
(e.g. screwdriver).
3. Take out the battery and open the clip on the connecting cable.
4. Dispose of the battery in an environmentally friendly manner (collection points or
retailers).
