Recommended frequency: When emptying the ash container or at least every 500 uses.
1. Ensure that the toilet is cold and the ash container has been emptied and cleaned (see section 4.2.1).

Do not use any sharp tools or objects when cleaning the ash container insert, as this will
damage the insert and reduce its service life.
In order to preserve the functionality of your toilet in the best possible way, we
recommend that you carry out the "steam cleaning" procedure in accordance with
section 4.2.2 every time you empty and wash the insert. This will prevent the possible
accumulation of tar and unwanted deposits in the catalytic converter and toilet exhaust
system.
When emptying the toilet, make sure that the grid power is connected. Emptying the
appliance without power will not enable the system to reset the use counter.
It is better to empty the ash as often as possible for better incineration efficiency.
