Connecting the inputs
SHOCK HAZARD
The input terminal is designed for DC application. Ensure that transient voltages do not exceed 480 V

SHOCK HAZARD
Floating voltage must not exceed 240 V
must not be more than 240 V
DO NOT CONNECT FRONT AND REAR INPUT TERMINAL CONCURRENTLY
Do not connect the front and rear input terminal concurrently for the same input channel. When the front
input terminal is in used, the rear input terminal must be left unused. Failing to observe the connection
requirement could potentially raise a fire hazard if the input current exceeding 60 A.
DO NOT REMOVE THE MATING CONNECTOR
Do not remove the rear mating connector as it acts as safety cover to the rear input terminal.
All DUTs should either be connected to the front panel binding post or rear panel input.
Binding posts
SHOCK HAZARD
Turn off AC power before connecting wires to the front panel. All wires and straps must be properly connected
with the binding posts securely tightened.
SHOCK HAZARD
To prevent accidental contact with hazardous voltages, do not extend the wire beyond the contact area inside
the input connector.
The binding posts accept wires sizes up to AWG 6 in location (A).
Wire size AWG 6 or 8 is the recommended wire. If you are connecting more than one wire on each binding post,
twist the wires to ensure a good contact and securely fasten all wires by hand-tightening the binding posts. If you
are using a slotted screwdriver, tighten the binding post to 8 in-lb (90 N-cm) for a secure connection.
