The troubleshooting chart below lists basic problems that may occur during start-up and operation. For more detailed
information, contact your area Jacobsen Dealer.

Empty fuel tank or dirty fuel
Fuel Shut-off valve closed
Engine / Spark Plug

Connect Power Connector
2.
Fully charge battery pack
3.
Start engine before attempting to energize unit
4.
Open battery tray and check fuse. Replace
5.
Reset
6.
Perform load test, replace batteries as needed
7.
Disengage bail and restart

Drain and refill fuel tank with fresh, clean fuel

Open fuel shut-off valve

Turn engine switch to On

Refill with proper grade, clean fuel

Check spark plug wire

Clean air intake and air cleaner

Clean fuel cap

Follow proper start-up procedure

Disengage parking brake

Turn reel switch on

Check and replace belts as needed

Calibrate bail lever
6.
Check LCD display, service traction motor

Adjust Reel to Bedknife

Turn reel switch on

Check LCD display, service reel motor
4.
Fully charge battery pack
5.
Adjust generator output
