ASSEMBLY

ATTACHING AND REMOVING VACUUM HOSE
(Fig. 2)
1. To Insert Hose into Vac Inlet Port: Insert the
Expandable Hose (F) with the Locking Tab End
into the Vac Inlet Port, located on the side of the
Drum (B), above the RIDGID SWEEP Label. Push
the Hose End straight into the Vac Inlet Port until
the Hose Locking Tab fully engages the Inlet Port

2. To Remove the Hose from the Vac Inlet Port:
Turn Vac OFF. Rotate the End of the Expandable
Hose (F) in either direction to release the Hose
Locking Tab from the Vac Inlet Port. Press the Hose
Locking Tab and pull the Hose End straight out of
the Vac Inlet Port.

NOTE: When using the Unit in the Vacuuming Mode,
the Side Battery Pack Compartment Lid can be used
as an Air Diffuser by closing this Side Battery Pack
Compartment Lid.
