NOTICE
The pipework must be flushed thoroughly before
installation of the cold water meter and the heat
meter!
The system must be depressurized before
removing the spacers!
NOTE
When installing a cold water meter or a heat meter,
the pressure loss of the used model must be taken
into consideration during design

meter
Remove spacer (8) by loosening the collar nuts. Install
cold water meter according to the instructions of the
manufacturer with due consideration of the correct
flow direction. Lead lock at the safety bore of the
collar nut if required.
Check all connections for leaks.

6.4 Heat meter

NOTE
It is recommended to only use heat meters with
quick sampling rate at one second intervals and
with integrated return sensor in the body.
Remove spacer (7) by loosening the collar nuts. Install
heat meter in the return of the supply unit according
to the instructions of the manufacturer with due
consideration of the correct flow direction. Remove
blind plug M10x1 (9) and install flow sensor (if required
with a corresponding adapter).

7 Protective equipotential
bonding / Grounding
NOTE
Before putting the system into operation, the pro-
duct assembly has to be grounded via a protective
bonding conductor in accordance with valid stan-
dards and country-specific regulations by a quali-
fied electrician. All metallic parts of the product
assembly have to be connected to the equipoten-
7
tial bonding bar of the building. The necessary
equipotential bonding cable made of copper must
have a cross section of at least 6mm². The stan-
dard DIN VDE 0100-540 is to be observed.
DANGER
Danger to life from electric current
There is danger to life if a live part is touched!
– Disconnect all poles of the power supply and
secure the station against switching on again.
– Check that no voltage is present.
– The connection must only be carried out by a
qualified electrician.
If no cabinet is used, use the grounding point (A) of
the base plate for equipotential bonding.
