6 Installation

DANGER
Danger to life and limb
Installation, initial operation, maintenance and
repairs must only be carried out by qualified
tradesmen (specialist heating company/ authorised
company).
6.1 Installation
Determine installation location and ensure that a pe-
ripheral distance of 100 mm towards any obstruction
is guaranteed.
Install piping according to the connection plan (illustr.
4.3). All connections must be equipped with isolating
3
valves (G
, flat sealing). Drill fixing holes according
4
to the dimensional sketch (illustr. 4.2/4.4). Align station,
mount onto the isolating valves with the supplied seals
and connect using the enclosed fixing material.
Observe warning advice under paragraph 2
(safety notes)
CAUTION
– Do not use any greasing agents or oils for the
installation, as these can destroy the seals. Any
dirt particles or grease or oil residues must be
flushed out before the dwelling station is
installed.
– When choosing the operating fluid, the latest
technical development has to be considered
(e.g. VDI 2035).
– Please protect against external forces (e.g.
impacts, vibrations etc.).
After installation, check all installation points for
leaks.
The station is equipped with spacers G
for the installation of a cold water meter and a heat
meter.
NOTICE
The pipework must be flushed thoroughly before
installation of the cold water meter and the heat
meter
The system must be depressurized before remo-
ving the spacers
NOTE
When installing a cold water meter or a heat meter,
the pressure loss of the used model must be taken
into consideration during design
