5.2 Functional description

The Oventrop dwelling station "Regudis W-HTF"
supplies heat as well as hot and cold potable water
to individual dwellings without using auxiliary heating.
The hot water for heating purposes is provided by a
central heat supply. The potable water is heated locally
via a heat exchanger according to the continuous
flow principle. The control range is adjustable between
40-70 °C.

Heating operation:
19
Heating water enters the supply of the heating circuit
13
of the dwelling (F) via the supply of the heating system
(D). The proportional flow controller (2) opens the path
between the return of the heating circuit (G) – and the
14
supply return (E).
15
The flow temperature of the heating system is conti-
18
nuously controlled by the contact sensor (16) and the
7
flow volume of the hot fluid is adjusted by the angle
16
pattern valve (15). Depending on the setting of the
angle pattern valve (15), cold water from the return of
10
the heating circuit (G) is added to the heating circuit
17
supply (F) via the check valve (13) (mixing function).
High temperature circuit:
Heating water enters the supply of the high tempera-
ture circuit (I) via the T-piece (18) in the supply (D).
The heating water flows back to the supply return (E)
via the return of the high temperature circuit (H).
Heating of potable water:
The proportional flow controller (2) switches to potable
water priority function, if hot water is demanded in
the dwelling. The heating water of the supply (D)
passes across the plate heat exchanger (1) and the
proportional flow controller (2) and enters the supply
return (E). The cold potable water (C) is warmed up
according to the continuous flow principle and is
available at the hot water supply of the dwelling (A).
