6.4 Heat meter

NOTE
It is recommended to only use heat meters with
quick sampling rates at one second intervals and
with integrated return sensor in the body.
Remove spacer (7) by loosening the collar nuts. Install
heat meter in the return of the supply unit according
to the instructions of the manufacturer with due con-
sideration of the correct flow direction. Lead lock at
the safety bore of the corresponding collar nut if re-
quired.
Remove blind plug M10x1 (9) and screw supply sensor
(if required with a corresponding adapter) into the
housing.

Check all connections for leaks.
7 Protective equipotential
bonding / Grounding
NOTE
Before putting the system into operation, the pro-
duct assembly has to be grounded via a protective
bonding conductor in accordance with valid stan-
dards and country-specific regulations by a quali-
fied electrician. All metallic parts of the product
assembly have to be connected to the equipoten-
tial bonding bar of the building. The necessary
equipotential bonding cable made of copper must
have a cross section of at least 6mm². The stan-
dard DIN VDE 0100-540 is to be observed.
DANGER
Danger to life from electric current
There is danger to life if a live part is touched!
– Disconnect all poles of the power supply and
secure the station against switching on again.
– Check that no voltage is present.
– The connection must only be carried out by a
qualified electrician.
If no cabinet is used, use the grounding point (A) of
the base plate for equipotential bonding.
