6 Installation

Installation, initial operation, maintenance and
repairs must only be carried out by qualified
tradesmen (specialist heating company/ authorised
company.
6.1 Installation
Determine installation location and ensure that a
peripheral distance of 100 mm towards any
obstruction is guaranteed.
Install piping according to the connection plan (see
4.3). All connections must be equipped with isolating

valves (G ⁄ , flat sealing). Drill fixing holes according

to the dimensional sketch (illustr. 4.2). Align station,
mount onto the isolating valves with the supplied seals
and connect using the enclosed fixing material.

(safety notes)
CAUTION
– Do not use any greasing agents or oils for the
installation, as these can destroy the seals. Any
dirt particles or grease or oil residues must be
flushed out before the dwelling station is
installed.
– When choosing the operating fluid, the latest
technical development has to be considered (e.g.
VDI 2035).
– Please protect against external forces (e.g.
impacts, vibrations etc).
After installation, check all installation points for leaks.

Screw stainless steel pipe (19) with ring gasket G
(23) to the deaeration elbow (12) (spanner size 30).
Turn head of the circulation pump (17) by 180°.
Screw double nipple (20) with ring gasket G 1 (24) to
the circulation pump (17) (spanner size 37). The flow
direction of the pump must be observed (upwards).
Screw circulation pump (17) with ring gasket G 1 (24)
to the stainless steel pipe (19) (spanner size 37).
Position double nipple (20) onto the ball valve and
tighten.
Remove protection cap from the bypass valve (6) and
mount actuator (18) onto the bypass valve (6).

Plug Wilo plug (21) into the circulation pump (17).
Plug earthed plug into the time switch and set the
time.
After installation, check all installation points for leaks.
The station is equipped with spacers G
for the installation of a cold water meter and a heat
meter.
