For your first flight attempts, we recommend setting an exponential of 40 % for the nod, roll, and yaw function. This
presetting makes the helicopter react more sensitively to remote-control commands and it is therefore easier to control
during the first flight attempts. See the operating instructions of your remote control for more information.
Your helicopter has been pre-programmed for four different flight modes. The flight mode can be switched during flight
using the left switch and the right switch on the transmitter (fig. 1, pos. 8 and 18).
The following modes are available:
Normal flight
Switches 8 and 12 must point away from you (forward). On the transmitter, the top right of the display shows "N". This
setting is intended for hovering flights.
Autorotation
Switch 12 must point away from you (forward). Switch 8 is switched backwards. On the transmitter, the "N" in the top
right of the display disappears. This flight mode is intended for autorotation. The motor is set to off. The remaining
control functions are deactivated. Only experienced pilots should activate this mode.
Sightseeing flight
Switch 8 must point away from you (forward). Switch 12 must be in centre position. On the transmitter, the top right of
the display shows "1". This flight mode is intended for sightseeing flights.
Artistic flight
Switch 8 must point away from you (forward). Switch 12 is switched backwards. On the transmitter, the top right of the
display shows "2". This flight mode is intended for artistic flights.
Due to the size, the weight and the fact that it does not correspond to the original, this helicopter is only
suitable for simple artistic flights such as turns, rolls or loopings. As a prerequitsite of course, the helicopter
must be properly configured and the pilot should be experienced.
Gyro setting
Your helicopter is equipped with a gyro with a heading lock function. You can select between the following three
settings using the mixer and the gyro switch (fig. 1, pos. 7) described in the following:
• Option 1:
You use the integrated gyro in normal mode and use the mixer to set different gyro sensitivities for two different flight
modes (e.g. hovering flight and sightseeing flight).
To do so, set a positive value (e.g. +50 %) for the forward setting of the gyro switch (fig. 1, pos. 7) and again a
positive value (e.g. +75 %) for the backward setting of the gyro switch. This way, you can switch between two
different gyro sensitivities during flight.
• Option 2:
You use the integrated gyro in heading lock mode and use the mixer to set different gyro sensitivities for two different
flight modes (e.g. simple artistic flight and extreme artistic flight).
To do so, set a negative value (e.g. -50%) for the forward setting of the gyro switch (fig. 1, pos. 7) and again a
negative value (e.g. -75%) for the backward setting of the gyro switch. This way, you can switch between two
different gyro sensitivities during flight.
