See the tables on pages 34 to 35 for
information on the numeric code(s)
corresponding to the component and the
manufacturer of the component (the first
digit and the last two digits of the numeric
code correspond to the category and the
manufacturer's code, respectively).
You can select one of them when there are
two or more code numbers.
The input button (TV, BD/DVD, SAT)
lights up when you press the number button.
3
Press ENT.
The setting is completed after the input
button you pressed in step 1 flashes twice.
4
Repeat steps 1 to 3 to control other
components.
To cancel programming
Press the input button (TV, BD/DVD, SAT) you
pressed in step 1.
To activate the input after
programming
Press the programmed button to activate the
input you want.
If programming is unsuccessful,
check the following:
• If the input button you pressed in step 1 does
not light up, the batteries are weak. Replace
both batteries.
• If you do not press the following button within
60 seconds during registration, the operation
will become invalid. Perform the process from
step1 again.
• An error has occurred when the input button
you pressed in step 1 flashes five times after
ENT has been pressed in step 3. Perform the
process from step 1 again.
Notes
• You can program only a manufacturer code numbered
from 500 to 599 on the TV (white) button.
• In step 1, if several input buttons (TV, BD/DVD,
SAT) are pressed, only the last pressed button is valid.
• For the numeric codes, only the three digits entered
last are valid.
To clear the memory of the
remote
First press and hold VOL –, then press and hold
POWER. Next, while pressing and holding the
first two buttons, press AV POWER.
All input buttons (TV, BD/DVD, SAT, AUDIO)
flash together, then go off.
The numeric codes
corresponding to the component
and the manufacture of the
component
Use the numeric codes in the tables on pages 34
to 35 to control non-Sony components and also
Sony components that the remote is normally
unable to control. Since the remote signal that a
component accepts differs depending on the
model and year of the component, more than one
numeric code may be assigned to a component.
If you fail to program your remote using one of
the codes, try using other codes.
The initial settings are underlined.
Notes
• The numeric codes are based on the latest information
available for each brand. There is a chance, however,
that your component will not respond to some or all
of the codes.
• All of the input buttons on this remote may not be
available when used with your particular component.
Default Settings
The default settings of each input are as follows.
