Commissioning

Perform the steps for commissioning the transducer in the following order:
• Configuration
• Installation
• Connection of measuring voltage and power supply

WARNING: Dangerous touch voltages!
For applications with high working voltages, take measures to
prevent accidental contact and make sure that there is sufficient
distance or insulation between adjacent devices.
DO NOT connect the transducer to power supply and measuring voltage
before it is professionally installed.
WARNING: Installing the optional shock hazard protection!
Correctly install all insulated wires, cable support sleeves, and
protective covers. Only this provides reliable protection against
electric shock.
CAUTION: Installation and adjustment with power off!
DO NOT install or adjust the transducer while it is connected to
measuring voltage or power supply.
CAUTION: Electrostatic discharge!
Take measures against electrostatic discharge (ESD) when installing or adjust-
ing the transducer.
CAUTION: Installation of cables and lines!
Observe the national codes and regulations during installation and selec-
tion of cables and lines.
