Function Description

Live-Zero Function
The live-zero function allows the output signal to be monitored.
When the output signal is adjusted to 4...20 mA (Live Zero), open circuits
or short circuits of the output lines can be recognized:
Output currents < 3.6 mA indicate a fault condition.

Monitor Output

The monitor output can be used for non-disruptive testing of the current
output by temporarily connecting a multimeter (to the test jacks of the out-
put terminals), or for permanent connection of an isolated display unit.
An open circuit in the monitor output, e.g., because of a broken wire, does
not result in impairment or failure of the current output.

Specific Test Report

Every transducer is subject to comprehensive final inspection and testing. The
successful passing of this test is confirmed by a specific test report according
to EN 10204.
