Measuring Functions

The transducer is used for conditioning, filtering as well as galvanic isolation
of analog AC and DC voltage signals. The transducer transmits analog sig-
nals from a normally high potential to a near-ground potential to allow the
safe and reliable processing of the signals. The analog output signal of the
transducer is a reflection of the analog measurement signal at the input of
the transducer. Depending on the device variant, the amplitude of the input
voltage may be up to several kilovolts. Unipolar as well as bipolar input
signals can be processed. The output of the transducer provides either a
unipolar or a bipolar standard signal. The individual ranges are calibrated.
The 3-port isolation, i.e., the complete galvanic isolation between input, out-
put and power supply, not only increases the protection of personnel and
equipment, but also the integrity of the measured signals. The measurement
values are captured without ground loop or disturbing cross coupling.
The housing is made from silicone-free materials. Its insulation properties
are achieved by potting with a silicone-free polyurethane casting resin.
