13. Maintenance
Repair work must always be carried out by a specialist familiar with the hazards involved
and with the relevant regulations.
If you have to replace the fuse, ensure that you only use fuses of the specified type and rated current (see "Spe-
cifications").
You must not carry out your own repairs to fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
After disconnecting the device from the power supply (disconnect the power cable!), use a suitable screwdriver
to screw out the FUSE holder (29) with the defective fuse.
Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
Now carefully screw the FUSE holder (29) with the new fuse back in.
Only then may you reconnect the device to the mains and put it into operation again.
Apart from this, the device does not need any servicing. The outside should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth
or brush.
Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions, as the surface of the casing could be damaged.

14. Disposal

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.

15. Troubleshooting

By purchasing this CD player, you have acquired a state-of-the-art product which operates reliably. Nevertheless,
problems or malfunctions may occur. For this reason, the following is a description of how you can eliminate pos-
sible malfunctions yourself.
Always observe the safety instructions!
The display is blank after the power switch (1) has been switched on
The mains cable has not been plugged into the socket correctly
The mains cable is not correctly inserted in the mains connection AC IN (28).
The fuse has been triggered.
The CD is not being played back.
CD has not been placed in the tray in properly.
The CD is dirty.
The inserted CD is not an audio/MP3 CD.
Try a different CD brand if the CD-R is not recognised or played.
