8. Connection to the audio system
• Connect the AUDIO OUT sockets (27) to the CD inputs of your mixing desk or pre-amplifier.
• Connect the "L" socket to the left input and the "R" socket to the right input.

9. Mains connection

The mains socket used with the CD player must be easily accessible, so that the device can
be quickly disconnected in case of an error.
The CD player and all connected devices must be switched off when the power supply is
connected.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devi-
ces and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions.
• Connect the small connection plug of the power line to the mains connection AC IN (28) on the device.
• Plug the power plug into a wall socket.
• The POWER switch (1) is used to switch the CD player on or off (ON: device is switched on, OFF: device is
switched off).

10. Using the device

Only operate the device when you have become familiar with its features and these opera-
ting instructions. Check again that all connections are correct. Do not put the product into
operation if it is damaged.
The amplifier used should always be the last device to be turned on and the first to be tur-
ned off. This prevents noise, e.g. when the CD player is switched off, that can damage the
amplifier or the loudspeakers.
Make sure that the connected devices are not overloaded. The sound should never be dis-
torted. If the music signal is distorted although the amplifier is not set to a high volume,
switch off the CD player immediately and check all the connections. If the connections are
correct, please contact a specialist.
The device may only be operated by persons familiar with the operating instructions. Keep
the CD player away from other persons or children.
a) Switching on the device
• Completely turn down the volume control of the connected amplifier.
• Press the power switch (1) to switch on the CD player.
• Then switch on the mixing desk, if connected, and then the amplifier.
