2. Intended use

Mc Crypt CMT-900C DJ CD-/MP3-Player is a semi-professional CD player. It is designed to play audio CDs or
MP3 files stored on a CD, an SD card or a USB memory stick. This device is designed for home use as well as
semi-professional use.
The low-level audio output signal has to be fed to an external amplifier (possibly using a mixing desk or a pre-
amplifier). The device is not suited for direct connection to loudspeakers.
The product is only approved for 230 - 240 V~/50 Hz alternating current.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. as in bathrooms, must be
avoided.
Any use other than that described above will damage this product and involves the risk of short circuits, fire, elect-
ric shock, etc.
No part of the product must be modified or rebuilt, and the casing must not be opened.
Observe all the safety and installation instructions contained in these operating instructions!

3. Explanation of symbols

This symbol on the device indicates that the user must read these operating instructions
prior to using the product.
A lightning symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of electric shock. The
device contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, never open the device.
