10. Using the device
•
Hold down the "previous track" button
The JOG wheel (2) is used to exactly locate a specific position in a track. In pause mode, it is very easy to set the
start of the beat precisely with the JOG wheel, as the track is scanned in very small steps (frames) and the search
steps can be heard while the JOG wheel (2) is being moved.

Turn the wheel to the right for a forward search. Turn the wheel to the left for a backward search.

In playback mode, the JOG wheel (2) is used to alter the playback speed. The extent to which the playback
speed is changed depends on the speed at which the wheel is turned.

You can select the starting point for playback using the CUE function. The starting point is set automatically
(AUTO CUE).
The advantage of this function is that e.g. empty parts at the beginning of a track are not played so
there is no pause before the music starts.

Deleting a CUE point

The CUE point is deleted as soon as a new CUE point is set.
Manually setting the CUE point
•
To set the CUE point manually, pause playback at the desired position. To do that, press the PLAY/PAUSE
button
(13) during playback. Use the JOG wheel (2) and the track buttons
cisely set the CUE point. The starting position of the track is automatically saved as a new CUE point. The
CUE button (12) lights up briefly.
