6. Connections and control elements
(15) PITCH button
Use this button to activate/deactivate the PITCH slide control (23).
(16) PITCH BEND - button
This button allows you to temporarily decrease the playback speed of the CD player by 16%.
(17) LC display
The LC (liquid crystal) display shows the most important settings and the track/CD data.
(18) OPEN/CLOSE button
Press this button to open or close the CD tray.
The CD tray cannot be opened during CD playback.
(19) SCRATCH/VINYL
Press this button to activate the SCRATCH (VINYL) function. Use the JOG wheel (2) to scratch like with a
real record player within the selected track in PLAY or PAUSE mode.
(20) SINGLE/CONTINUE button
With this key you can switch the CD player between individual (SINGLE) track playback and continuous
(CONTINUE) track playback.
(21) CD/USB/SD button
Press this button to select the data source (CD, USB, or SD).
(22) TAP button
Press this button to determine the beats per minute.
(23) PITCH slide control
Use the PITCH slide control to change the playback speed within +/-16 %.
The slide control only has an effect if the pitch function has been activated using the PITCH button
(15).
(24) USB input
Port for USB memory stick.
(25) SD card input
SD card slot
(26) CD tray
Insert your audio CD here. Open or close the CD tray by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button (18).
(27) AUDIO OUT
The left and the right audio output signals of the CD player are supplied on these RCA sockets. Connect
the audio input of your mixing desk or amplifier here.
(28) Mains connection AC IN
Plug in the provided mains cable here.
(29) FUSE holder
The mains fuse is installed here.
