7. Cleaning

Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Pull the mains plug 4 out of the wall
socket before you clean the smoothie
maker.
The base unit 1 and the power cable
with the mains plug 4 must not be im-
mersed in water or other liquids.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
When washing manually, the water
should be sufficiently clear for you to
see the blade attachment 7/8 easily.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
After every use
• Clean the device and all individual
parts used after each use and remove
all food residues.
• Prior to cleaning, all parts must be sepa-
rated from one another (e.g. remove To
Go lid 9 from blender jug 5/6).
Base unit
Wipe off the base unit 1 and the power ca-
ble 4, using a lightly moistened cloth. Dry
with a dry cloth.
Manual cleaning
1. The accessories (blade attachments 7/8,
blender jugs 5/6, and To Go lids 9) can
be cleaned with warm water and a little
detergent.
2. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean
water.
3. Allow all parts to dry completely before
you put them away or use the device
again.
Dishwasher
The following parts can be cleaned in the
dishwasher:

the blade attachments 7/8
-
the blender jugs 5/6
-
the To Go lids 9

8. Storage

DANGER for children!
Keep the device out of the reach of chil-
dren.
DANGER!
In order to avoid accidents, the mains
plug 4 must never be connected to a
wall socket while in storage.
• Figure D: wind the power cable 4
around the cable spool 3 at the under-
side of the device.
• Select a location where neither high
temperatures nor moisture can affect the
device.

9. Disposal

This product is subject to the
provisions of European Direc-
tive 2012/19/EC. The sym-
bol showing a wheelie bin
crossed through indicates that
the product requires separate
refuse collection in the European Union. This
applies to the product and all accessories
marked with this symbol. Products identified
with this symbol may not be discarded with
normal household waste, but must be taken to
a collection point for recycling electric and
electronic appliances. Recycling helps to re-
duce the consumption of raw materials and
protect the environment.
