- to engage the forward or reverse gear, release the safety device (3) by pressing downwards and then pull the clutch lever (4).
How to operate the unit – unit + fitting (Fig.11)
- switch the engine on.

- to move the gearbox lever (A) to the direction of the desidered gear ( single/reverse gear) until the gear is inserted.
- disconnect the safety lever (1) rotating it to the top then lower the fitting insertion lever (2).
- to engage the forward or reverse gear, release the safety device (3) by pressing downwards and then pull the clutch lever (4).
To move with the engaged fitting you need the levers (2) and (4) are operated at the same time.
Safety device and deactivation (fig. 11)
When releasing each lever (2) and (4) you can immediately stop the function which was previously engaged. To stop the job you need to put the
throttle handle (5) on stop position and the engine is switching off.
BELT AUTO-TENSIONING (Fig.12)
For a correct unit working the engine belt should always be in traction. The motor cultiivator is equipped
of a a patented system for the belt auto-tensioning and according to such system when the belt is gradually used up it is regulating it taking it back
to the best working conditions. The engine belt should be replaced when between unit cover (1) and engine support (2) there is about 6 mm space.
GEARBOX (Fig. 13)
Use SAE 80 oil. Oil capacity : 1,30 l. To check the oil level: the machine must be on level ground. Remove filler cap (1) and
check that the oil level with the bottom of the hole. The filler cap acts also as the oil level.
Check the oil level every 60 work hours.
To change the oil: remove plug (1) and tip the cultivator sideways. The oil draining should be performed when the machine is still hot .
When the oil has drained out completely, tip the machine on the opposite side position and fill it in with new oil up to the lower level of the hole. Replace
the plug.(1). Change the oil every 150 work hours (with the word "hours" , we mean the machine working hours).
DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE COMPONENTS (Fig. 14)

unblocking lever - 6) Engine - 7) Gearbox lever.
ENGINE OSCILLATING SYSTEM (Fig.15)
The motorcultivator is equipped by a oscillating system which in case the job is performed on
a ground slope it allows the engine to be on vertical position.
ATTENTION : this is possible only if the the machine is equipped with the fitting : BALLAST.
HOW TO MAKE THE ENGINE OSCILLATING :
- disconnect the oscillating set (1) from the engine support (2) prizing on the teeth (3) and (4) using two screwdrivers A and B.
Push to the external part until you are able to take by hand all the oscillating set out..
-assemble the fitting composed by the ballast support (5) and the ballast (6).
-Insert the fitting into the engine support (2) as shown in the picture.

From now on it is possible to operate on slope ground and avoid engine problems.
