3.7 Reversing the flushing direction
The SA-2020pro flushing device offers the option of reversing the flushing direction while flushing is
in progress. This enables hard blockages to be loosened and also serves to avoid the formation of
compaction of debris caused by excessive counter pressure.
When should the rinsing direction be changed?
•
If you observe a sharp rise on the pressure gauge, which shows the pre-pressure when the
flushing direction is active.
•
If you want to remove a blockage, you can remove the blockage by regularly switching the
direction of flushing.
3.7.1 Flushing variant I - All valves in horizontal position
The system is flushed with rinsing water via the flow. Valves A and D are open, valves B and C are
closed.
If the pressure in the flow manometer increases, the device must be switched to flushing variant II.
3.7.2 Flushing variant II - All valves in vertical position
The system is flushed with rinsing water via the return line. Valves A and D are closed, valves B and C
are open.
Likewise, if the pressure gauge rises, the device must be switched to flushing variant I.
