Chapter 1 - General / Safety Instructions

1.1 Intended use

The SA-2020pro flushing device with its connection components may only be used by qualified
personnel in accordance with these instructions. Other applications are not permitted.

1.2 Field of use

SA-2020pro is used to flush closed technical water circuits, such as heating systems or cooling
systems, by alternating flushing with a pulsating compressed air-water mixture.
Corrosion or the precipitation of salts in heating systems and other technical water circuits can lead
to silting of fittings and pipes or a deterioration in heat transfer. In such cases, the pipes or individual
system components must be flushed to restore proper function.
In addition, newly erected heating and cooling systems should also be flushed before commissioning
so that residues from the system construction do not adversely affect later operation.
The SA-2020pro flushing device is suitable for use in both fields.

1.3 Safety instructions

Please read these operating instructions carefully before commissioning the device and follow the
instructions. The operating instructions must be kept ready to hand at all times.
Personal injury and property damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions are
not covered by the Product Liability Act. The manufacturer assumes no liability for any other damage
caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions.

The applicable national and international safety regulations must be observed.
Each operator is responsible for compliance with the regulations that apply to him and must

1.4 Safety rules

The flushing device should only be used by an educated specialist in the plumbing and heating sector
or by a person with comparable technical qualifications.
The manufacturer's warranty expires if the device is modified.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage caused by improper use. This also invalidates the
warranty.
The flushing device may only be put into operation if it is in perfect condition.
The device may only be operated with heating or cooling water in accordance with the applicable
guidelines, drinking water and suitable cleaning agents. Use of the device with concentrated acids,
alkalis and chemicals that are not compatible with PVC-U is not permitted.
