Picture F – Connecting Handle Poles to
Pedal Rails
13. Plug the bottom parts of the handle
poles (7-R, 7-L) into the mounts of the
pedal rails. Please Note: If they are at
an angle in the mounts, the middle rod
(4) needs to be twisted a little.
14. As is shown in the picture, screw the
handle poles and pedal rails together.
Use the enclosed Allen bolts (A-1), fl at
washers (A-3), spring washers (A-2)
and Allen bolts (A-4) to do this.
15. Firmly tighten the bolts in the bottom
part of the middle rod.

16. Fix the pedals (9R, 9L) on the pedal
rails (5, 6) using the Allen bolts (A-5),
fl at washers (A-3) and self-locking
nuts (A-6) which are provided. When
you do this, the pedals can be mount-
ed closer to the handles (front three
holes on the pedal rails) or further
away (rear three holes of the pedal
rails). When mounting the pedals,
make sure that the markings L (left)
and R (right) on the pedals and the
pedal rails match and that the screw
heads fully disappear in the recesses
of the pedals. They must not protrude!

17. Fix the handles (10-R, 10-L) on the
handle poles (7-R, 7-L) using the
carriage bolts (A-7), fl at washers (A-3)
and self-locking nuts (A-6) which are
provided.

18. Remove the premounted bolts in the
top part of the middle rod (4):
– 2 x Allen bolt (4-1)
– 2 x spring washer (4-2)
– 2 x regular washer, bent (4-3)
19. Fix the handlebar (11) on the middle
rod (4) using the fastening materials
which were previously removed.

20. Remove the four premounted cross-
head screws (12-1) from the training
computer (12).
21. Fix the training computer (12) on the
middle rod (4) with these cross-head
screws (12-1).
22. Connect the two pulse monitor cables
(4-6) of the handlebar (11) to the
cables (12-2) of the training computer
(12).
23. Insert the plug of the connecting cable
(4-4) from the middle rod (4) into
the connecting socket (12-3) of the
training computer (12). When you do
this, make sure that the plug is fully
inserted in the connecting socket.
Final Check
24. Retighten all screws and bolts again
at the end.
25. Stand on the device and check wheth-
er it wobbles. If necessary, screw the
feet (7) on the base supports (2, 3)
in and out to adjust the level of the
device.
Positioning the Training
Device
PLEASE NOTE!
Always place the device on a dry, fl at,
stable and non-slip surface. Delicate
fl oor coverings should be protected
with a non-slip mat or similar.
Depending on your height, leave enough
space on all sides of the training device (at
least 1 metre to the sides, 2 metres above
it), so that there is enough room to move
during training (Picture B). In addition,
the clearance space needs to be at least
0.6 m larger than the exercise area in the
direction from which the training device
is accessed. The clearance space must
include the space required for an emer-
