Navire largement autosuffisant, conçu pour de grandes traversées au cours desquelles le
vent peut dépasser la force 8 (sur l'échelle de Beaufort) et où la hauteur significative des
vagues peut dépasser 4 m, à l'exclusion toutefois de conditions exceptionnelles, comme
par exemple les ouragans.
Les bateaux JEANNEAU sont homologués pour la Communauté Européenne par l'ICNN,
organisme notifié n°0607.
Catégorie B : "Au large des côtes"
Navire conçu pour des navigations au large des côtes, au cours desquelles les vents peu-
vent atteindre la force 8 et où la hauteur significative des vagues peut atteindre 4 m.
Les bateaux JEANNEAU sont homologués pour la Communauté Européenne par l'ICNN,
organisme notifié n°0607.
Catégorie C: "A proximité des côtes"
Navire conçu pour des navigations en eaux côtières et dans de grandes baies, de grands
estuaires, lacs et rivières, au cours desquelles les vents peuvent aller jusqu'à la force 6
comprise et où la hauteur significative des vagues peut atteindre 2 m.
Les bateaux JEANNEAU sont homologués pour la Communauté Européenne par l'ICNN,
organisme notifié n° 0607.
CLASS A : " In the open sea "
A boat highly self sufficient designed for long crossings during which the wind may exceed
force 8 (on the Beaufort scale) and in which the significant height of the waves may exceed
4 m, with the exclusion of exceptional conditions such as hurricanes, however.
For the European Community, this JEANNEAU's boat is ICNN approved. The Institute
for the Certification and Standardization in Ship Building is an acknowledged body
Number 0607.
CLASS B : " Off the coasts "
A boat designed for crossings off the coasts during which the winds may reach force 8
and in which the significant height of the waves may reach 4 m.
For the European Community, this JEANNEAU's boat is ICNN approved. The Institute
for the Certification and Standardization in Ship Building is an acknowledged body
Number 0607.
CLASS C : " Close to the shore "
A boat designed for navigation on coastal waters and in large bays, large estuaries, lakes
and rivers, during which the winds may rise up to force 6 included and in which the signi-
ficant height of the waves may reach 2 m.
For the European Community, this JEANNEAU's boat is ICNN approved. The Institute
for the Certification and Standardization in Ship Building is an acknowledged body
