Replacing the knife head

If the knife head is bent, damaged or deformed, it must be replaced immediately.

► Position the two guards correctly
on the wear plate.
► Insert the bolts.
► Tighten the nuts to the specified
tightening torque.
Removing the knife head
► Align the knife stroke so that the
bolts on the head bearing are on
top.
► Unscrew the bolts on the knife
head.
► Unscrew the bolts on the head
bearing.
► Remove the knife head from the
sections. Watch out for loose
sections.
