Attachment

To adapt the connection between the hedge trimmer and the carrier vehicle or
implement carrier it is advantageous to use the mounting screws (1). In the case of a
defect, adaptation with these mounting elements facilitates fast and easy replacement
of the defective parts.
Mounting on the carrier vehicle or implement carrier
► While attaching the hedge trimmer make sure that no one is in the area between
the hedge trimmer and the carrier vehicle or implement carrier.
► Make sure that there are no hydraulic hoses in the area between the hedge
trimmer and the carrier vehicle or implement carrier. Route or suspend the
hydraulic hoses at the proper locations specified by the manufacturer.
► Never enter the area beneath suspended loads. Support the hedge trimmer and/or
the arm.
► Mount the hedge trimmer at the connection to the carrier vehicle or implement
carrier. Follow the manufacturer's instructions in the operating manual. Follow the
operating instructions in particular regarding personal safety.
► Connect the hydraulic hoses from the hydraulic motor of the hedge trimmer to the
connection on the carrier vehicle or implement carrier in accordance with the
information provided by the manufacturer.
Make sure that the hydraulic hoses cannot be squeezed or kinked during
operation.
► Adjust the angle or inclination of the hedge trimmer according to the specifications
of the respective manufacturer. Make sure that no one is in the turning and
swivelling area of the machine during operation.
► For mechanical adjustment:
When working on the machine, first switch off the motor and depressurize the
hydraulic system.
