10. Maintenance and Cleaning

a) General Information
The water pump system for home use has no parts that require maintenance by you. Therefore, never open or disas-
semble it. Maintenance or repair and opening of the water pump system for home use in this context must only be
performed by a specialist or specialist workshop.
Before cleaning, disconnect the water pump system for home use from the mains voltage; pull the mains plug from
the mains socket completely.
A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient to clean the outside of the water pump system for home use.
Dry off the water pump system for home use and the mains cable before you keep the product in a dry, clean and
frost-free location.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions for cleaning, since
these may damage the casing or even impair function.
b) Checking and setting the pressure in the pressure tank
For the pressure switch to switch on and off correctly, the
pressure tank must have a pressure of 1.8 - 2.0 bar.
Turn the cover cap at the pressure tank counter-clockwise to
the left until it can be removed.
You can use a suitable pressure gauge to measure the pres-
sure through the valve.
You can use an air pump or compressor to set the pressure
correctly.
Put on the cover cap again and tighten it manually to the
right.
Attention!
Set the pressure between 1.8 and 2.0 bar. Never set a higher pressure; this may cause damage to the
pressure storage tank and/or the pressure switch. Loss of guarantee/warranty!
