3. Intended Use

The water pump system for home use is intended for private use, e.g. in a hobby garden. The product is not intended
for operation of irrigation or irrigation systems in commerce, industry or public areas (e.g. garden facilities). The prod-
uct is not suitable for permanent operation, e.g. in recirculation systems.
Only clean, clear fresh water must be transported (rainwater, tap water or chlorinated swimming bath water). The
conveyed liquid must not be hotter than +35 °C.
The water pump system for home use is used, e.g., for water supply of suitable devices in the garden via a house well
(ground water), or to recirculate/drain containers (rain water cistern). The water pump system for home use can be
used to supply toilet cisterns or washing machines from a well or rainwater cistern.
The water pump system for home use must not be used to supply drinking water or to transport foods; it must not be
connected to an existing municipal drinking water supply.
The water pump system for home use has an integrated pressure switch. If, e.g., a water tap is opened that is con-
nected to the pressure side of the water pump system for home use and if water removal causes the water pressure
to drop below the pre-set activation pressure, the pump of the water pump system for home use will switch on auto-
matically. When the water tap is closed, the pump will switch off again when the deactivation pressure of the pressure
switch is reached.
The pressure storage tank integrated in the water pump system for home use buffers removal of small amounts of
water to prevent too-frequent start-up of the pump, which increases its service life.
These operating instructions must be passed on to any person who uses the dirt water pump. The dirt water pump
must only be used if these operating instructions have been read and understood. The safety notes and all other
information in these operating instructions always have to be observed.
Any use other than that described above can damage the product and may involve additional risks such as short
circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of this product must be modified or converted!
