3. Intended Use

The barrel pump is intended for private use, e.g. in a hobby garden. The product is not intended for operation of irriga-
tion or irrigation systems in commerce, industry or public areas (e.g. garden facilities).
Only clear, clean fresh water is admissible as conveyed liquid. The conveyed liquid must not be hotter than +35 °C.
The barrel pump serves water supply of suitable devices in the garden from a suitable rain barrel.
An external float switch switches off the barrel pump if the water level is too low to keep it from running dry. The float
switch can, however, be attached to the side of the barrel pump or the telescopic tube if not in use.
These operating instructions must be passed on to any person who uses the barrel pump. The barrel pump must only
be used if these operating instructions have been read and understood. The safety notes and all other information in
these operating instructions always have to be observed.
Any use other than that described above can damage the product and may involve additional risks such as short
circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of this product must be modified or converted!
