9. Decommissioning

To deactivate the water pump system for home use, simply pull the mains plug from the mains outlet.
If you want to disconnect the water pump system for home use from the hoses (e.g. for cleaning, maintenance or
storage in winter), proceed as follows:
• First disconnect the water pump system for home use from the power supply; pull the mains plug from the mains
socket.
• Open the water tap on the pressure side so that the present water pressure can discharge.
Caution!
If this is not done, water may escape under high pressure. This may cause injury (e.g. if the water jet hits
your eye).
• Disconnect the hoses from the water pump system for home use.
A lot of water may escape here, especially from the hose connected to the pressure side. Keep a sufficient
number of empty buckets at hand. A lot of water runs from the pump as well.
Also consider emptying the hoses placed outdoors to prevent frost damage; open any water taps that may
be installed.
• Let the remaining water run from the pump of the water pump system for home use.
• Dry the water pump system for home use and the mains cable. Coil up the mains cable.
• Keep the water pump system for home use in a frost-protected and dry room that is not accessible for children
over winter.
• Only carry or transport the water pump system for home use by the pressure storage tank. Never hold it by the hose
or even the mains cable. Never carry/transport the water pump system for home use by the pump either, since this
may damage the connection between the pump and the pressure storage tank.
• After operation or emptying, a small amount of water may remain in the water pump system for home use. There-
fore, use a suitable support when storing or transporting it in a vehicle.
