• Plug the mains plug into a proper mains socket with a protective ground contact.
The mains plug must only be plugged into the mains socket when dry. There is danger to life from electric
shock otherwise!
• The water pump system for home use starts working now. At first commissioning, the priming process may take a
while before there is enough pressure on the pressure side for the pressure switch to activate the pump.
If necessary, open a water tap on the pressure side briefly for air to escape and then close it again.
Attention!
Let the pump run against the closed pressure side for no more than 10 minutes while priming. Otherwise,
the water in the pump may heat up a lot. If this water escapes from the pump, there is a danger of injury/
scalding! The pump and the pressure storage tank may be damaged as well.
In any case, make sure that pump does not run dry. It is not protected against running dry.
If you have placed a shut-off valve in the suction line, it must never be closed while you operate the water
pump system for home use.
If the pump does not suck in any water, disconnect the water pump system for home use from the mains
voltage and pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Open the water tap on the pressure side to drain any
overpressure. Then fill the suction hose and the pump again until the water runs over. Then start priming
again as described above.
• If the water was sucked in correctly, close the water tap on the pressure side.
After closing the water tap on the pressure side, the pump of the water pump system for home use will lag for a while
until enough pressure is built again. Then the pressure switch will switch off the pump automatically. The pressure
gauge (1) will display the water pressure on the pressure side.
There is a rubber bellows in the pressure storage tank through which pressure is built. This not only au-
tomatically controls the pump of the water pump system for home use, but small water volumes may be
tapped without the pump starting up.
Important!
If there is any leak on the pressure side (leaking hose, etc.), water will be transported continually for func-
tional reasons. This may cause severe water damage.
• The water pump system for home use is now ready for operation.
If opening of a water tap on the pressure side causes a pressure drop, the pressure switch will activate the pump
of the water pump system for home use and water will be transported automatically.
If the water tap is closed again, the pump of the water pump system for home use will lag for a while until enough
pressure is built again. Then the pressure switch will switch off the pump automatically.
As described above, small amounts of water can be taken from the pressure storage tank without the pump starting
up.
