may negatively impact on the durability of the fabric.
We therefore recommend that it gets examined
regularly by the medical products supplier.
Should the product become damaged, please consult
your specialist supplier. Do not repair the orthosis
yourself – this could compromise its quality and
medical efficacy. For hygienic reasons and because
the orthosis is individually tailored, it is not suitable for
treating more than one patient.
Washing and care instructions
Please observe the care instructions on the inside
of the product. Please remove the stabilising splints
before washing, as illustrated in Fig. 4/ 5. Wash the
orthosis separately the first time (possibility of bleed-
ing). Wash the orthosis and strap by hand at approx.
30 °C using a laundry detergent for delicate fabrics.
We recommend using the mild Juzo Special Detergent
for this. Afterwards, please rinse it out well and allow
it to dry at room tempera ture. To reduce the drying
time, you can place the orthosis on a thick terry towel
and pat it dry. Do not leave it in the towel and do not
place it on a heat er or in the sun to dry. The orthosis is
not suitable for tumble drying. Please re-insert the sta-
bilisation rods into the pockets only when the orthosis
material has dried completely. This Juzo product must
not be cleaned chemically.

Notes for the orthopaedic technician
The integrated stabilising splints have been anatomi-
cally preshaped and can be reshaped if necessary.
Storage information and usage duration
Store in a dry place and protect from sunlight. The
medical retailer or doctor prescribing the orthosis will
advise on exactly how long it can be used for.
Indications
JuzoPro Manu Xtec Palmar
Moderate to severe sprains and strains, tendon / joint
injuries, moderate to severe tenosynovitis (inflam-
mation of a tendon and its sheath), carpal tunnel
syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis (chronic irritation),
osteoarthritis, post-traumatic / postoperative immobili-
sation (substitute for plaster cast)
JuzoPro Palmar Xtec Rhizo
Postoperative, pre-operative, post-traumatic, severe
rhizarthrosis, carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS night rest-
ing), tenosynovitis (inflammation of a tendon and its
sheath), De Quervain's tenosynovitis (gamer's thumb)
Contraindications
If the following symptoms exist, the orthosis should
only be worn after consultation with the physician:
Unstable fractures in the area of the hand, lymph
drainage disorders, arterial flow impairment,
post-traumatic conditions, skin disorders or skin irrita-
tions; Wounds in the treatment area are to be covered
with sterile dressings.
The Julius Zorn Group assumes no liability as a result
of any contraindicated use of this product.
Side effects
There are no known side effects when using this
product correctly. However, if you notice any adverse
changes (e.g. irritation of the skin) during the
prescribed use, please consult your doctor or medical
retailer immediately. If you know that you are allergic
to one or more of the product ingredients, please
consult your doctor before using the product. If your
symptoms worsen during the time you are wearing
the product, please take off the orthosis and consult
a medical specialist immediately. The manufacturer
does not accept any liability for damage / injuries
resulting from improper use or misuse.
In the event of complaints related to this product, such
as damage to the material or problems with the fit,
please contact the medical retailer directly. Only seri-
ous incidents that may lead to a major deterioration of
the patient's medical condition or to death should be
reported to the manufacturer and the relevant author-
ity in the Member State. Serious incidents are defined
in Article 2 (65) Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR).
Disposal
As a rule, the product is to be destroyed via the con-
ventional disposal route after the end of use. Please
observe the applicable local / national regulations.

JuzoPro Manu Xtec Palmar, composée de textiles
non élastiques avec éléments de renfort ajustables,
partiellement amovibles, immobilise le poignet dans
deux directions de mouvement (ulnaire / radial et
dorsal / palmaire).
JuzoPro Palmar Xtec Rhizo, composée de textiles
non élastiques avec éléments de renfort ajustables,
amovibles, stabilise le poignet ainsi que l'articulation
métacarpo-phalangienne.
Comment fixer correctement votre orthèse
JuzoPro Manu Xtec Palmar :
1. Ouvrez les trois fermetures velcro disposées sur le
haut de l'orthèse et tirez les sangles à travers les
oeillets (ne pas les ouvrir entièrement!) jusqu'au
champignon velcro. Enfilez l'orthèse en veillant à
insérer le pouce dans l'ouverture prévue (ill. 1).
2. Fermez d'abord la fermeture velcro du milieu, puis
la sangle sur le dos de la main et la fermeture à
l'avant-bras (ill. 2).
